It's a good coaster don't get me wrong, just not my favorite. The laying down makes me a little uneasy. Heights are a problem and I just don't feel secure in the harness even after riding it a 2nd and 3rd time.
I hope I can try this next year. This kind of coaster is called a lay-down coaster where you have to lay down in order to ride it. As soon as everyone is sitting down and getting their seats the operator presses a button that flattens the seats until everyone is laying down. Then the staff makes sure that the harnesses are tightened and secure and gives the operator the all clear and the ride starts. This coaster isn't rough. The layout is good. The inversions are unique. But the one thing I HATE with a burning passion about this ride- is how UNCOMFORTABLE these restraints are. Talk about bad restraints. On the parts where you are flipped on your chest, Firehawk threatens to drop you onto the grass and it is just PLAIN PAINFUL. From the drop to the brakes, you are slowly slipping out of your seat, being jerked from side to side with every turn or inversion. I really hope that this coaster can get removed soon, and replaced with that rumored giga coaster.
Legitimately thought I was going to die! The seatbelts barely hold you in and give you little confidence that you will live. I know the lap belt makes it impossible that you will fall out, but I was not focused on the ride, but my screaming wife next to me who thought she would fall out and die. GET A BETTER HARNESS PLEASE!!!
